A high-level delegation from the European Board – Human Restart participated in the Euro-Mediterranean Conference on Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation (EM-HERI 2026), held on June 23–24, 2026, at the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) headquarters in Tunis.
The event was organized by ALECSO in partnership with the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed), under the central theme:
“Sustainability, Open Science, and Green Jobs”
Active Engagement & Keynote Addresses
The Human Restart delegation included Ms. Siza Tsabi, Board Member of the European Board – Human Restart, and Mr. Matthias Wolf, Board Member. Both actively contributed to the conference proceedings and scientific panels alongside university presidents, policymakers, academic representatives, and international experts from across the Arab region and Europe.
In her address during the sessions, Ms. Siza Tsabi highlighted the vital role of expanding international academic collaboration and building strategic institutional partnerships. She emphasized the need to empower researchers and foster knowledge exchange between Europe and the Arab world to drive higher education reform.

The conference focused on strengthening Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in scientific research, innovation, and higher education. Key discussions centered around supporting academic mobility and building resilient, sustainable educational frameworks responsive to future labor market demands.
